i know that i will be receiving failing grades Sad it feels so bad because it will be my first time to receive one and my parents will surely be angry. how can i ease the pain im feeling and how can i explain this to my parents. the main reason i will fail because my teacher did not accept my late project. the deadline was 12noon and i submitted it at around 4pm so he did not accept it but i was wondering why the projects of others who also submitted late but earlier than me were accepted but was given a deduction.

Well, first of all, next time remember to finish your homework on time and as to this time, you should tell your parents the truth and the might forgive you! I did that once and it worked a bit, my parents were really angry but they didn't say anything about it as in shout or scold.

Just tell your parents that it happens because in all honesty, it does.  You can't experience the feeling of great success without first feeling the consequential wrath of failure.  It's a lesson in life we all cope with every day, one that needs to be learned one way or another.  Assure them that you will do what it takes to fix your mistakes and don't hide anything or lie about anything.  Just deal with it openly and up front and all should be well.  There's no such thing as perfection.  To believe that there is would be absolutely outrageous.  Good luck!  Get those grades up and practice better time management so that you can start getting your homework in on time.  That's one thing I wish I would have learned in high school.
